The life artists auction has a long tradition at the NCL-Foundation. For the first time, however, the auction will focus on photography. On Monday, November 7th, the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel will open its doors and reveal 33 photographic works to come up for auction under the gavels of Celia Lunsford, artistic director of Fotographie Forum Frankfurt, and TV-moderator and author Bärbel Schäfer.
Numerous photographers have generously donated pieces of artwork in order to become one of a selective group – the NLC-Foundation’s “life artists.” Visitors to the charity auction will be pleasantly surprised with the wide selection of photographic styles and motifs.
Works up for auction this November include glamorous portraits by Edward Quinn, Werner Bokelberg and Roger Fritz, aesthetic ballet motifs by Dieter Blum and Rebecca Hoppé, and impressive travel and nature photography by Götz Diergarten, Manfred Baumann, André Wagner and Silke Lauffs.
Just as significant are the impressive animal portraits by Walter Schels and Ralf Kopp as well as the mystical black-and-white photographs by Robert Häusser, Peter Schlör, and Barbara Klemm. Besides the impressive scenes of the Frankfurt skyline by Ulrich Mattner, our guests will enjoy many more photographic works from renowned artists.
